The Parque Patrimonial das Águas offers guided tours of its museum centre, the Parque das Águas and the Porto Historical Sources Tour.. Tours are free of charge and must be booked in advance by email.

Guided tour of Parque das Águas
Duration: 1h30
Route: not recommended for people with reduced mobility due to uneven ground in the forest area
Description: tour of the wooded area with stops to learn about the history of the park's fountains, water features and arches, which were once located in the city centre, as well as the history of the park's creation and the former Quinta das Oliveiras estate.
Maximum number of participants: 40
Meeting point: park entrance, at Rua do Barão de Nova Sintra 225
Parque das Águas - Open-Air Museum offers guided tours that allow visitors to learn about and interpret Porto’s cultural heritage related to water and its relationship with the city.
Organized tours of Parque das Águas - Open-Air Museum are subject to prior request and subsequent evaluation and confirmation by Águas e Energia do Porto; they are not guaranteed simply based on a reservation or schedule availability.
Confirmation of a tour takes into account the nature and purpose of the request, the route and areas involved, the size and characteristics of the group, and compatibility with the site’s conservation, safety, and operational requirements.
Tours are free of charge.
Confirmed tours may be rescheduled, modified, or canceled whenever the conditions necessary for their conduct are no longer met.
Tour of Porto's Historic Fountains
Duration: 2 hours
Route: not recommended for people with reduced mobility due to the walking route through the city
Description: walking tour starting at Praça da Trindade and ending at Rua de Miragaia, with stops at Porto's historic fountains and places linked to the city's history with water.
Maximum number of participants: 30
Meeting point: Praça da Trindade
*In case of windy or rainy weather, the tour will be canceled for safety reasons and rescheduled.
