I Remember Water International Exhibition
Águas e Energia do Porto (AEdP) participated in the organization and was a jury member for the global exhibition “I Remember Water,” a project of UNESCO's Global Network of Water Museums (WAMU-NET), a network of which AEdP is a member through the Water Heritage Park.
The exhibition was structured into six different sections by a team of curators: Life, Play, Heritage, Spiritual, Belonging, and Transformations. All the images collected explore, from different perspectives, the diversity and impressive affinity of humanity's connection to water.
The online exhibition, which opened on International Museum Day 2022, aimed to broaden the reach of the day promoted by the International Council of Museums. “I Remember Water” is displayed on a new website with 462 images and documents provided by 60 institutions, artists, and individuals that reveal “the power of water memories.”
