5th International Conference of the UNESCO Global Network of Water Museums

In October 2024, Águas e Energia do Porto hosted the annual WAMU-NET Conference for three days of sharing on the theme "Cities of Water – Peace and Prosperity through Education for Water Sustainability" through the voices of 30 Portuguese and foreign speakers who explored strategies and practical solutions for preserving and enhancing the water heritage of cities. The program included cultural visits around the city and its water heritage.
