Fonte Prado Repouso
- title
- Fonte Prado Repouso
- description
- It is attached to the outer wall of the Prado do Repouso Cemetery, and is therefore named after it. In turn, the cemetery takes its name from the old Quinta do Prado, owned by the bishop for the rest of prelates, ceded in 1838 for the construction of the city's first public cemetery. It was supplied by the Montebelo Spring, whose streams then went to the two tanks inside the cemetery and to the Rua Garrett Fountain, preserved in Parque das Águas.
