- It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910 and its design is attributed to Pantaleão de Seabra e Sousa. It is also known as Fonte do Rio Frio, because at the time, it was located near the Rio Frio, on the other hand, it was once believed that the water had medicinal "virtues". It has an inscription in Latin that tells us about its iconological program and there was, in the niche, a sculpture of Our Lady. It was supplied by the Manantial das Virtudes.
