- It replaces the old Fonte do Padrão de Campanhã, located in front of the chapel on Rua do Heroísmo. It was integrated into a porch on the ground floor of a building, where a commercial store now operates. The gap was deep and the fountain was located against the wall behind it, leaving a large space in front of it for shelter and socializing, accessed via the street sidewalk. Its transfer dates back to the 1940s.
