  • Chafariz do Passeio Alegre
  • title
  • Chafariz do Passeio Alegre
  • description
  • It belonged to the extinct Convent of São Francisco and was rebuilt by the Inspection Committee of the Salva Vida Establishment, which requested the City Council to supply it with water. It is classified as a National Monument in 1910. Another theory is that it was created by Nicolau Nasoni, for the gardens of Quinta da Prelada and that after the purchase of the Quinta by Porto City Council, to install the Municipal camping site, the fountain was moved to Jardim do Passeio Alegre.
